FAQ Is Friend Seekers a singles night Friend Seekers is not a singles night in the sense that most people think. It is NOT a pick up place! Friend Seekers is for people who are new to Cyprus, people who want to make new friends, people who want to meet that special some one, basically any one who wants to meet like minded people. Is Friend Seekers a safe place Yes, very safe. Friend Seekers (Mike's Black Velvet Pub-Taverna) is a well run safe pub, but we advise you to be senseable and not exchange your contact details or address with somebody you have just met. As you would not do so in any pub or taverna you go in. How do I get home after Friend Seekers is finished We can call you a taxi when ever you want to leave. I am not from the UK can I go to Friend Seekers Yes, everyone is welcome. What happens at Friend Seekers You can expect a warm welcome from Mike, Leonora, Harry and Violie who run the pub, and are very friendly people, You will not be a stranger for very long. The event is run in a relaxed, safe atmosphere, we don't allow people to get drunk and act stupid, But that doesn't mean that we don't have fun. We will introduce you to nice friendly people, you can sit and chat, dance even sing if you like it is all upto you there is no pressure. We also run special theme nights, quiz nights, hot and cold buffets, dinner and dance, etc. Where do Friend Seekers meet Freind Seekers meet every Friday from 7 p.m. till late at Mike's Black Velvet Pub-Taverna Located on the Tombs of the Kings Road, Kato Paphos (see how to find us on a map) How much does Friend Seekers cost to visit Friend Seekers is FREE to visit, there is NO CHARGE AT ALL. You can stay 5 minutes or all night it is upto you. We run Friend Seekers at a great venue called Mike's Black Velvet Pub-Taverna the music is great, they specialize in 60s rock 'n' roll and Motown. The drinks are very reasonable, they have Buy 1 and get 1 free all day and night on many drinks, a pint of beer is only €2.25 Snacks and meals are available if you feel hungry.
